Destiny 2 – Low-level grinding…

So I’ve been streaming a bit of Destiny 2 (D2), and so far, it is ok. Of course I haven’t played long enough to render judgement on the game, but I am not overly impressed. So far, it feels very much like the original Destiny (D1), and the things that are different are not great. It is very confusing for some reason, whereas I felt that D1 was very straightforward, and I rarely felt lost, or like I didn’t know what to do. Here is my latest stream so that you can check it out. I will say this one thing (and you can see it in the video) – I really love the revolver. As someone who owns a Smith & Wesson Performance Center 500, this revolver really reminds me of it.

Destin 2 – Playing for the first time.

Just uploaded a new video to the YouTube channel of my first time playing Destiny 2. I was a huge fan of Destiny 1, so I wanted to see how this game played. I picked a Titan first, as Titan is my favorite class, and went at it. So, what are my first impressions? Well, watch the video to hear them live as I play, but I will say here that while the controls are almost the same as Destiny 1, the UI and tracking of items is worse. I will upload my second stream here soon, and I run into this problem more in that stream. I suppose I’ll adapt over time, but it is somewhat frustrating. Destiny 1 just felt perfect and easy to get through.

For the first time in history, a gamer is on the cover of ESPN magazine!

If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you may not know who the gamer that goes by the handle “Ninja” is. He has a long history in gaming, which you can read in the October issue of ESPN, but suffice it to say that he is literally the biggest name in gaming today. He rose to stardom of late with the immensely popular game “Fortnite”, and has parlayed that success into branding deals, partnerships, etc. All of this, while streaming comfortable from his home on the streaming platform “Twitch” – an Amazon company. I highly recommend you grab the issue below, especially if you are a gamer or gaming historian, as this issue will be one for the history books. Below is a pic I took of the issue – now I just need to get it framed.

May Giveaway – 1000 Fortnite vBucks!

For the month of May, I thought I’d switch it up a bit. Instead of doing a monthly game giveaway from my collection, this month, I’m giving away 1000 vBucks to up to three lucky people. This is a tiered contest. If we get from 1-500 total entries, that is one gift code worth 1000 vBucks. From 500-1000 total entries unlocks the second gift code. At 2000 total entries, the third card is unlocked. So make sure to share this with all of your Fortnite Squad and friends, so that you can unlock the max amount of gift codes to be given away. You will get to choose your preferred platform for the gift code: Xbox One, PS3 or Steam (PC). Good luck in the contest, and may the odds be ever in your favor! -Mnemonic Tutor

Final Fantasy Dissidia NT Collector’s Edition – Unboxing

Hello fellow gamers! I’ve just uploaded a new unboxing video to the channel. In this video, I unbox the brand new collectors edition of Final Fantasy Dissidia NT for PS4 from Square Enix. If you’re a fan of the Final Fantasy series, like I am, you will love this edition. My only complaint is that the Warrior of Light bust is a little small – maybe 8 inches total, and relatively thin. I would have preferred a more substantial bust, at least 12 inches tall, and wider. Either way, I would buy this again – but it is a Final Fantasy product, and I collect literally everything Final Fantasy. Anyway, check out the video below and tell me what you think.

New Video – PAX South 2018 – Day 3 Floor Footage

The Day 3 footage from PAX South 2018 is now up on the channel. Check it out!

This is Day 3 footage from the Expo floor of PAX South 2018!

This video is much shorter than the previous two, as we had seen almost everything, and we had a lot of stuff going on Sunday. I still wanted to get this up for those that want to see what the vibe was like on Sunday. Nothing really changes on the Expo floor across the three days except for the crowd size and vibe of the place. Friday is definitely the most laid back, with Saturday being the most hectic and energized. Sunday is a weird mix of laid back energy – if that makes any sense. I think it is because people start to realize it is the last day of this amazing experience, and they start to feel a little numb. Sorry for the extremely short video, but I felt it was important to preserve this, regardless of the length.

For what it is, it is a solid little action cam that can do 4k footage. I’m still playing around with the settings and with various mounts, but I do love it and recommend it.

Enjoy the video!

New Video – PAX South 2018 – Day 2 Floor Footage

The Day 2 footage from PAX South 2018 is now up on the channel. Check it out!

This is Day 2 footage from the Expo floor of PAX South 2018!

In this video, we start with a bird’s eye view of the expo floor from the balcony area. Then we make our way over to the console free play area to play some XB1. We check out some awesome fighting game on X360 with fight sticks, and then we head back to the expo floor for some more adventure. We see some cool stuff at the Discord booth and we end the video at the Twitch arena.
