Lost Odyssey – an RPG worth buying digitally on Xbox One

In this video, I played some Lost Odyssey live on Twitch. It was a lot of fun. After almost an hour and a half, I got to a boss that I wasn’t prepared to fight. We lost twice, so I decided to end the stream. I’ll spend some time grinding out some more levels before we go back and try to fight it again!

Let me just say this, though, this game is absolutely worth getting. I snagged it on sale in the Microsoft Store on Xbox for around 5 or 6 bucks. You should grab it digitally, since on Xbox 360, the game is 4 discs, and you will have to swap between discs as you progress through the game. That seems really tedious, so just get it digital. I do have the physical version as well, but I bought it before I saw it on the MS store for so cheap.

Destiny 2 – Low-level grinding…

So I’ve been streaming a bit of Destiny 2 (D2), and so far, it is ok. Of course I haven’t played long enough to render judgement on the game, but I am not overly impressed. So far, it feels very much like the original Destiny (D1), and the things that are different are not great. It is very confusing for some reason, whereas I felt that D1 was very straightforward, and I rarely felt lost, or like I didn’t know what to do. Here is my latest stream so that you can check it out. I will say this one thing (and you can see it in the video) – I really love the revolver. As someone who owns a Smith & Wesson Performance Center 500, this revolver really reminds me of it.

Destin 2 – Playing for the first time.

Just uploaded a new video to the YouTube channel of my first time playing Destiny 2. I was a huge fan of Destiny 1, so I wanted to see how this game played. I picked a Titan first, as Titan is my favorite class, and went at it. So, what are my first impressions? Well, watch the video to hear them live as I play, but I will say here that while the controls are almost the same as Destiny 1, the UI and tracking of items is worse. I will upload my second stream here soon, and I run into this problem more in that stream. I suppose I’ll adapt over time, but it is somewhat frustrating. Destiny 1 just felt perfect and easy to get through.
